2014 Louis Baisinbert Chablis 1er Cru 'Beauroy' Chardonnay Burgundy France

The Story
Louis Baisinbert wines were born from the passion of three Burgundy Wine lovers who created a mico-Haute Couture-wholesale company with a unique and exclusive focus on quality.

Their approach: select Barrels specific Cuvees from a few of the very best independant Burgundy winemakers. Their wines are presented in innovative bottles with unique design and a label that still respect Burgundian codes and traditions.

The Wine: A Fine white Burgundy wine in Limited Edition
Vintage: 2014
Quantity Produced: 2,100 Bottles
Classification: Premier Cru
Grape Varietal: 100% Chardonnay

The Chablis wine region runs alongside a little river with the soothing name of the Serein. The main bedrock comes form the Kimmeridgean age (150 million years ago.) Deposits of tiny oysters can be found in the rock, which were left by the warm, shallow sea that once covered this territory. One particularity concerning Chablis Premier Cru is that the climats are spread between the right and left banks of the River Serein. The Beauroy is situated on the left bank.

Aged 6-12 months in French Oak

Tasting Notes:
Pale golden in hue with beautiful reflections and an intense nose of elegant oak with a hint of fresh white fruits. A well-balanced, generous in flint aromas, typical of Chablis. Nice ripe fruit notes. Beautiful length and concentration.
