2015 Chapuis & Chapuis Santenay

Wine Maker: Harvesting is carried out by hand and the harvested grapes are transferred into large vats where temperature controlled fermentation takes place and lasts about 12 days. After fermentation, the red wine is run off and transferred into barrels where it ages for 12 months. The white is aged in vats and bottled in the spring following the harvest.

Romain and Jean Guillaume Chapuis, are thirty-years-young, brothers from Pommard. Trained under Philippe Pacalet (nephew of Marcel Lapierre). Their wines are fresh, balanced and terroir-driven.
