2015 Petroni Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Estate

Tasting Notes: Pale straw in color.  Typically aromatic the wine is exotic and floral offering white peach, passion fruit, lychee and citrus complimented with a dash of herb and spice. The palate is intense and tight at this stage with some savory elements adding a layer of complexity to the gooseberry and citrusy fruit. Beautiful mineral acidity is threaded through the rich fruit. The structure is tight and strong with the lingering acidity carrying the persistent citrus flavors to the end.

Ratings:
90pts Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate
-"The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc Estate has a pronounced nose of grapefruit, lemon curd, lime leaves and chopped herbs with hints of musk perfume, honeyed peaches, and fresh hay. Medium to full-bodied, rich and with a pleasantly oily texture, it is packed with citrus and stone fruit flavors. Marked by a great line freshness, it finishes with lingering herbal suggestions."
