2012 Anatomy No1 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley California
Anatomy No 1 is crafted for earlier consumption but it still has enough structure to age a few years. It is meant to be fun, joyful and delicious.
Winemaking style: First and foremost a wine has to be balanced. Then the winemaker looks for complexity and interest. He tends to make wines on the elegant side. Stylistically the wines are hybrids between Bordeaux (structure) and Napa (fruit and generosity).
Aging: French oak barrels M+ and Medium long toast 15 months in barrel. Unfined but sterile filtered.
Varietal Blend: 89% cabernet Sauvignon + 7% Merlot + 4% Syrah
